Bulls beat Conference leaders Barnet

Hereford United turn in their best performance of the season.

Barnet 0Hereford United 2

This game must rank as the Bulls' best performance this season, and the result was more than deserved.

Hereford was by far the better side on the day and the margin of victory could have been even greater.

The fitness of the Bulls players showed, and they outlasted their host, runaway Conference leaders, Barnet.

Hereford took the lead in the 33rd minute with an excellently worked goal by Danny Carey-Bertram, who took the ball under the keeper.

Manager, Graham Turner, has put out the same starting eleven for the third game in succession, and this consistency seems to now be paying dividends.

Craig Mawson made two good saves early into the second-half, but generally was little troubled, thanks to good defenders.

Adam Stansfield came on for the Bulls as a second-half substitute and added the second goal, which came in injury time.

You can hear an interview with Hereford United's Jamie Pitman and a match report by BBC Hereford and Worcester's reporter, Peter McMillan, by clicking the links on the right hand side of this page.

The match attendance was 2,668.
