Jane Anderson

Dr Anderson is director of the Centre for the Study of Sexual Health and HIV at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and honorary senior lecturer in HIV medicine at Barts and The London, Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry. She has been involved in the clinical care of people with HIV infection for over 20 years, with a particular interest in women and families. She is on the executive board of British HIV Association, co-chair of the African HIV Research Forum and a medical advisor to Positively Women.

Liz Barclay

Liz is a broadcaster, writer and financial journalist. She presents You and Yours on BBC Radio 4, and has produced and presented other consumer and finance programmes, including Pound for Pound on BBC Two and In Business on BBC Radio 4.

Her background is in family, consumer and employment law, welfare benefits and financial advice, and she spent five years with Citizens Advice.

Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology

Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology is a leading NHS cancer specialist hospital for non-surgical cancer care and one of Europe’s most comprehensive and innovative treatment centres. Staff provide specialist diagnostic, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, cancer rehabilitation and palliative care to a population of 2.3 million covering Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, Isle of Man, and South Lancashire.

Mhairi Hawkes is Macmillan clinical nurse specialist in breast cancer at Clatterbridge and holds an MSc in Advanced Practice. She has a broad expertise in aspects of cancer care and is currently involved in the development of strategies to support survivorship.

Pauline Hammond is assistant director of nursing and manager of a large rehabilitation and support team at Clatterbridge. She has 26 years experience as a cancer nurse and is at the forefront of developing services to support cancer patients and relatives at all stages of their journey.

Pete Cohen

Pete began his career as a health and fitness professional, and devised the Lighten Up weight-control programme.

He launched the Paul McKenna Sports Success Programme with Roger Black, and teamed up with Sally Gunnell to launch Lighten Up. He has also worked with people with phobias, anxiety and image problems.

Julia Cole

Julia Cole is a counsellor who specialises in couple and psychosexual therapy. She's accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, has practised as a counsellor and psychotherapist for 20 years, and writes and broadcasts on relationship issues.

Lyndel Costain

Lyndel has more than 20 years' experience as an NHS dietician and independent consultant, specialising in weight management and eating disorders.

She's a regular contributor to magazines, TV, radio and websites, including the BBC One Diet Trials, and author of four books on nutrition.
