It's not unusual for people to be critical of their own appearance, but people with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) actually find themselves physically repulsive. Ruby Wax chats to Lea Walker about her distorted self-image and the lengths that she's gone to in order to 'fix' her perceived flaws. Ruby Wax majored in psychology at University of California, Berkeley. She later moved to England and launched a successful career as a comedian and presenter. Ruby has trained as a psychotherapist and is studying for an MA in Neuroscience.
