Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is identified in childhood and is characterised by particular behaviours. These are impulsiveness, hyperactivity and the inability to hold attention. Sometimes this is mistaken for naughtiness, but this is a medical condition that can be treated. Ruby Wax finds out what it's like for Katherine to give her son daily medication.
