Sir Robin Knox-Johnston

The H2O Show

Sir Robin Knox-Johnston takes the helm for the H20 Show. Join him every Friday for the best coverage of the South Coast's sailing and water-based leisure activities.

Record-breaking yachtsman Sir Robin Knox-Johnston is joined by powerboat racer Shelley Jory and sailing journalist Tracey Clarke for the H2O Show on BBC Radio Solent.

Each week they'll meet some of the South's sailing personalities, preview the week's maritime and watersports events and reflect on the news and current issues affecting anyone working or playing on the water.

The Solent is famous for its rich maritime heritage and the H2O Show covers all aspects of life on the water - leisure, business and sport.  Whether you're a sailing professional or just like watching the boats go by on the Solent, the programme will have something to appeal to you.

Listen live to the H2O Show on 96.1/103.8FM BBC Radio Solent every Friday at 1900 BST (Repeated Saturday at 0500 BST).

The H2O Show is also available as a podcast and you can get news and features from the programme on Facebook.

Look back at the highlights of the H2O Show 2008 series:

Last year the team boarded all kinds of craft - from giant cruise liners to personal watercraft, spoke to Olympic medallists and endurance sailors, investigated issues like piracy and seasickness and were at the big sailing events of the summer including Cowes Week and the Southampton Boat Show.
