FA Cup Dream is over
Havant and Waterlooville gave Premier League giants Liverpool the fright of their lives for an hour, before ultimately succumbing to a 5-2 defeat in the FA Cup.
6,000 fans made the trip to Anfield
The Hawk's stunned Anfield by taking the lead early on through Richard Pacquette, before Liverpool leveled.
Alfie Potter then put the Hawks in front for a second time to the delight of the 6,000 travelling fans.
A Yossi Benayoun hat trick consigned the Hawk's to defeat.
But there was no shame in defeat for the Hawks - they received rapturous applause from the Kop and plaudits from around the football world for such a battling performance.
Havant and Waterlooville made it through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after a stunning 4-2 win in their 3rd round replay against Swansea.
Garry Monk's headed own goal put the Blue Square South side a goal up before a Jamie Collins bundled effort and Rocky Baptiste's tap-in made it 3-0.
Swansea replied with a Guillem Bauza strike before the break, and then Leon Britton saw his penalty saved.
Jason Scotland cut the deficit to one, but Tom Jordan's header sealed victory.
The replay had been won in equally dramatic style. The first match ended in a 1-1 draw thanks to an 87th minute strike from Rocky Baptiste.
Swansea weren't the first league prey for the Hawks. They had beaten League Two Notts County in the first round when Tony Taggart hit the only goal, also in the 87th minute.
