Saints Forum 2007

BBC Radio Solent held its annual pre-season Saints Fans' Forum on Thursday 9 August.

BBC Radio Solent's Saints Fans' Forum is the annual opportunity for Southampton supporters to hear directly from the men running the club, and put their questions to key members of the management and playing staff.

This year's Forum took place on Wednesday 8 August at 7pm in the Mick Channon Suite at St Mary's Stadium in front of over 400 supporters.

BBC Radio Solent's Tony Husband was in the chair.  On the panel was Chief Executive Jim Hone, Financial director Lee Hoos, Commercial Director Andy Oldknow, Manager George Burley and Captain Claus Lundekvam

With just four days to go before the start of the news season, it emerged that Southampton remain actively engaged in potential takeover talks.

The club's chief executive Jim Hone revealed  that meetings are continuing with a view to providing new investment for the club.
