Gulliver's Bedroom

Gulliver's Bedroom

As a young man reads Gulliver's Travels, he finds comparisons in the book to his own life.

This contemporary take of Jonathan Swift's classic tale of Gulliver's Travels was written and produced by Joe Dawson from Petersfield.

It stars Mark Collier with John Bowen, Fred Simpson, Christophe Vielliard, Rebecca Burke and Ben Kelly also worked on the film.

Mark Kermode's comments: "A sprightly, satirical retelling of Gulliver’s Travels within the downbeat surroundings of domesticity.  I particularly liked the duvet sea and the bath-bound storms – and the 'cup of …wee' gag is bound to be a crowd-pleaser."

Pleasant viewing. Loved it. Could this be any better? This is a question I pose. I shall look for the name Joe Dawson in the future. Nice one Joe.

Loved it. Original and witty idea. Should be in the running for best comedy. The script had a great fluidity about it. Ace. Saw you produced your own film there Joe. Well done. If you need a producer get in touch.

This is an imaginative and humourous piece that is very well executed and very pleasant to view. I really admire the original treatment it is entertaining.
