Mike's Sunday afternoons are anything but 'lazy' - his lively mix of conundrums, competitions, guests, music and fun is guaranteed to entertain while you let the Sunday roast settle.

Regular guests include the Genial Genealogist, Chris Rolfe,  who'll help you trace your family history and explain the meaning of your name.

There's bird and wildlife experts Derek Lister and Sandra Jones who tell us what to see in our gardens, fields and meadows throughout the year.

Top accountant Julie Butler takes on your financial or tax queries.  Plus, Mike's Mysteries when we take a delve into the unexplained and mysterious - everything from alien abductions to haunted buildings and conspiracy theories.

And with Mike's Mellow Moments you can chill out before another hectic week starts. There's an opportunity to catch the forthcoming week's weather forecast and keep on the move with regular travel bulletins every half hour.

The Sunday show is as diverse as Mike's own career so far.  As a music journalist in his teens, Mike interviewed the likes of John Travolta, the Beach Boys and Suzi Quatro.

After a career change he trained to be a Catholic priest before joining British Airways as a member of the airline's cabin crew. 

After travelling the world, Mike joined BBC South as a weather presenter in 1998. He still regularly appears alongside Sally Taylor and Roger Johnson to present the weather forecast on BBC South Today.
