Hello. This is the embarrassing page where those that do force me to reveal interesting things about me in a bid to fill another web page. It's the internet equivalent of the final blank page on an application form which gets bigger and more impossible to fill the longer you stare at it.

So - what do you need to know? I was born in a house in Burton on 17th February 1971, making a slightly unscheduled appearance in the family home in Martins Hill Lane.

The next eight or so years largely involved wearing bad clothes, falling out of trees, riding bikes, eating Flumps and Sherbet Fountains and making holes in the knees of my trousers.

Those were the glory days of having hair. I remember them fondly. The next 10 or so years was a heady mix of football, ZX81's, homework, discovering girls, and pretending to be older/younger than I really was depending on whether I was attempting to get into a pub or get a rail ticket. Then came college, sailing, America, Dorchester, accountancy, flats, cars, women and the BBC.

The current Human Rights Act prevents me from boring you any more and besides I'd have nothing left for the autobiography.
