Timshel

A four-piece Southampton-based band who play a blend of classic rock riffage and heart felt melody and have been described as a combination of many artists including Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, The Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave & Reef!

Band Profile

Band members: James - Vocals, Jami - Guitar, Paul - Bass, Rob - Drums

Where are you from? Southampton.

Describe your music: Original riff based rock music both funky and emotional!

When did the band form? Summer 2002.

How did the band get its name? Our lead singer suggested it, no one else had chosen it and it has a really cool history with the word.

Musical influences: Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Primus.

The band's most memorable gig: Playing at the Isle of Wight festival in the summer of 2005 in front of 1000 strong crowd.

Favourite song to play live: Carbonara No 3

Interesting band facts: Both Jami and Rob have studied music professionally at various music schools. The band are regulars at the Hobbit in Southampton as it's the bands local.
