  • Mobile Design Guidelines v1.1 (this is a PDF, approximately 5MB in size).

    This style guide outlines the principles and standards for the creation of mobile web pages for the BBC. It is intended to be used by designers, developers and producers.

  • Global Visual Language Guidelines v3.0

    The Global Visual Language Guidelines v3.0 gives guidance and recommendations on page layout and design principles for BBC online (bbc.co.uk) sites. The new GVL 3.0 guidelines forms part of a larger concept, the Global Experience Language which will encompass the user experience for all of the BBC's digital services.

  • Global Visual Language Guidelines v2.0

    This version of the Global Visual Language has now been superseded and replaced by GVL 3.0. Some projects that have been started using GVL 2.0 are yet to deliver and these guidelines will remain available until such time as they are no longer required.
