Online Services Guidelines in Full

The Law

Access for people with disabilities

The BBC is committed to ensuring that everyone is able to enjoy our online services and to complying with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

The BBC aims to use its web sites to make information accessible in a range of different formats. The BBC has developed an Accessibility Checklist at: www.bbc.co.uk/guidelines/newmedia designed to ensure that content online is as accessible as possible.

For more advice on how the Act affects our sites, consult Regulatory Legal Department.
