Eastleigh By-Election

Created on 07 Feb 2013

Polling will take place in Eastleigh on Thursday 28th February.  A reminder that any coverage on BBC output relating directly to the vote or the constituency must take account of the relevant sections of the Election Guidelines which you can read here:

http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/guidelines/editorialguidelines/pdfs/Election-Guidelines-By-elections.pdf

Levels of past and current electoral support should be taken into account in deciding relative levels of coverage:  Liberal Democrat, Conservative, Labour and UKIP should receive broadly similar levels of coverage in items about the constituency and/or the by-election.

If you have any queries about coverage please contact Ric Bailey, Chief Adviser, Politics by email  ric.bailey@bbc.co.uk or phone: 07889 852195 or Phil Abrams: philip.abrams@bbc.co.uk
