Payment to MPs
We should not normally pay the following people for their contributions to BBC news programmes:
- MPs at Westminster
- members of the European Parliament
- members of the Scottish Parliament
- assembly members of the National Assembly of Wales and the Northern Ireland Assembly.
- politically active members of the House of Lords.
