DQ Policies Ref 01
The BBC will meet its obligations as defined by the Charter and
Agreement
DQ
Policies Ref 02
Compliance with policies and standards within Delivering Quality
is mandatory.
Any proposal to step outside the policies and standards needs to be
discussed and agreed with the
appropriate authority / approval body.
See DQ Help and Compliance
Delivering Quality pulls
together all the technical standards within the BBC,
and via this site, aims to make information
available to suppliers, third parties and
contractors. Its overall objective is to ensure that
the brand name of the BBC is enhanced by its use of
technology.
Compliance with Delivering Quality is mandatory. All
contracts drawn up with a technology element will
include a statement to this effect and will direct
suppliers to the relevant standards. Please see
Help and
Compliance for information on being
kept up to-date with changes.
A number of standards are commercially
confidential, and therefore do not appear on this
site. Where appropriate these will be made available
to 3rd parties during contract negotiations and
subject to a Non Disclosure Agreement.
For information on other guidelines and policies,
please see BBC Guidelines.
If you would like to be notified of all updates
please e-mail the Delivering
Quality Manager: dqm@bbc.co.uk, and include "DQ
Update List" in the subject.
