Transmission and Distribution

All Transmission Services are supplied to the BBC under contract by third parties. The standards are commercially confidential, and contract specific, and therefore have restricted access.

The BBC's Distribution department is responsible for ensuring BBC services are universally available on all platforms, and for managing contracts with suppliers.

Any deviations and exceptions from the published standards for the distribution of radio or television programmes must be agreed with BBC Distribution.
