UK Home Secretary Jacqui Smith

March brought Jacqui Smith embarrassment

Embarrassing situations

Do you find yourself in embarrassing situations? Following the UK Home Secretary's obvious embarrassment we asked what embarrasses you?

In March 2009 the UK Home Secretary Jacqui Smith was severely embarrassment by those x-rated films her husband watched.

We wondered what were islanders' most embarrassing moments so we visited St Peter Port to ask - have you got any embarrassing moments?.

Some are willing to admit to their embarrassing experiences, others seem more willing to talk about 'a friend' who it happened to and others, well you can read for yourself:

"At Cobo Bay Beach, he had his trousers pulled down once."

"I've fallen down the stairs in one of the clubs."

"I'm sure I have but I've probably just wiped the memory."

"There's been a couple of situations but I don't really want to go into that."

"Quite a lot."

"The embarrassment is probably not so much mine as my husband's."

"I've fallen over in front of a crowd... it's better if you're with somebody, at least you can laugh about it."

"I slipped on a drain and then I had to walk off."

"I had my trousers whacked down in the town by my mate, went a bit red then chased him down the road."
