I Love
the Bomb was formed in January 2002, when keyboard player Chris
met vocalist Jac and synth player Stuart in November 2001 in a club
in Soho called The Republic.
We have a small but loyal following and we hope to make even
more friends during our brief stay in Cheltenham. |

They
immediately recognised they had things in common and soon formed
a strong musical relationship. They decided to start a band of their
own and after recruiting Nic as vocalist I Love the Bomb was officially
born.
The
band have now embarked on a mini tour in celebration of the release
of their debut album entitled 'Lost All Track Of Time'.
The
Bomb (as they are affectionately called) arrives in Cheltenham on
July 1 2003 to play at Tangerine on Imperial Saquare.
Vocalist
Nic said: "We have a small but loyal following and we hope
to make even more friends during our brief stay."
History
When
the band first started they sent their promotional CD-R to labels
nationwide but the electronic demo was met with mixed reviews. However
they were soon signed to Atmosphere and they began to write material
for the album.
Then
the band focused on playing at venues around the country and they
received an encouraging reception so much so that at the end of
the 'tour' in December the band enthusistically finished off the
long-awaited debut.
Electro
Poptastic
Now
with the album under their belts they hope to bring their brand
of electro pop into the foreground.
"The
sound is swirling electronics fused with beat-heavy anthems,"
said Nic. "And we write intelligent and thought provoking lyrics."
The
band have actually produced four 'albums' to date but 'Lost All
Track Of Time' is their first as a signed band. Let's see whether
they make new friends in Gloucestershire!
