24 Gloucestershire hoursYou are in: Gloucestershire > In Pictures > 24 Gloucestershire hours A unique social history project illustrating in photos a twenty-four hour period in the life of Gloucestershire Students head to lessons in Tewkesbury, recycling bins are emptied and a Vets opens up. Brendan's in need of his morning coffee, Barb greets her fish and Andy checks a few emails. Tammy is now dressed, Jon sits himself down and a technician works hard in Tewkesbury. Andy drives through Coaley, Geoff has a coffee break and Mary writes home to America. Mary in Bishop's Cleeve gets sewing, Geoff heads out shopping and Jon enjoys a sandwich. Peace at last for Carl, a bit of drum 'n' bass for Brendan & Tammy's taken out for a drink. Barb's post has arrived, Jon has tidied his desk, Clover's playing a tune and Ed's working. Nan has her boiler fixed, Brendan puts up a poster and it's hometime at Tewkesbury School. Leaks need fixing, cakes need making, meals need preparing and Jon's reading the pink sky! Tea's served near Charlie's cat flap, there's dishes to wash & Peter arrives home from work. Spaghetti bolognese for tea in Cheltenham, port is being drunk and the washing's still out! Dawn is rope training in Lydney, Mary's with friends & Chris is admiring his Christmas lights. A fruit cake's produced, a flat pack bee hive made and it's time to put your feet up and read. Carol Singers are active, Hayley puts out the recycling and Jon's watching the football. Hayley admires her Christmas tree, carols are being sung and Unilever is making ice cream. Night shifts continue, a Weimaraner prepares for bed and Hayley finishes the washing up. It's bath time for some in Churchdown, work time for others but bed time for most! John's flying home from New Zealand, ice cream's being packed and Jenny drinks a herbal tea. Production continues at Unilever, delays in Seoul and a nappy needs changing in Ruspidge. It's round the clock work in Barnwood, a new dad's awake with the baby & Mark's day begins. Lunchtime for John, dogs snuggle up and the demand for icecream continues in Barnwood. There's an early breakfast in Winchcombe, it's still flat out at Unilever & Kate's on air. Frost over Chalford Hill and Mark begins the breakfast show on BBC Radio Gloucestershire. A morning trip to the loo, a morning search for milk and a morning with ice on every car. More from this sectionYou are in: Gloucestershire > In Pictures > 24 Gloucestershire hours |
