Gustav Holst: The Lost Films

In the late 1970s filming began on a documentary about the life of the Cheltenham-born composer Gustav Holst. The film was never completed and the footage has remained hidden in the archives of The Holst Birthplace Museum until now. Use the video player below to view extracts from the fascinating films, introduced by the BBC's Steve Knibbs.
