Unsung

On this show this month, how can you get your music noticed?

Listen in to hear advice from The Kaiser Chiefs and also Joe Wilson, a former member of the Sneaker Pimps and now the course leader in popular music at the University of Gloucestershire.

You can also hear our music reviewer, Stephen Morris, who thinks he has found one of the most exciting acts to come out of Gloucestershire this year.

Joe Noel

Finally, meet Joe Noel, an unsigned singer/songwriter from Stroud.

"I've been playing guitar for about eleven years or so" says Joe.

"I still write a lot of music and so I went off on my own, recorded an E.P. and here I am now.

"I'm going off to study music and sound recording at Surrey University. From there I think I'll always be involved in music.

"I'll just see where it takes me."

Joe's first E.P. is called 'Victoria's Place', it was recorded at Gloucestershire College and you can hear from Joe along with one of the tracks on this month's show.
