Now, just over 6 months later and the stand has seated fans for the first time.  Gloucester playing at Kingsholm Stadium The original stand at Kingsholm was opened in 1932 and has now been replaced by a brand new 7500 seater grandstand. During the demotion of the old stand and construction of the new, walking around the ground was a great opportunity for reflection plus a unique view of the Cathedral! A place where dreams could be made or shattered, standing on the ground at Kingsholm under the observation of Gloucester Cathedral really represents the glory of Gloucester.  Now the new main stand is complete and the view of the Cathedral has almost vanished completely.
