He visits some key locations on both sides of the struggle, including the UK's only remained monument to abolition - Stroud's Memorial Arch - and a building funded by the sale of humans.

Simon also meets a group of comtemporary freedom fighters, students from Archway School who are fighting contemporary slavery at the UN in Geneva.
