The
Aftershock crew are launching Gloucester's first fortnightly drum
and bass event for three years.
Having
worked hard to secure the right venue, they've produced a DJ/MC
line-up for the night which features a host of local talent.
Some
of the biggest DJ stars on the circuit, such as V Recording's Bryan
G and Donovan "Bad Boy" Smith, hail from Gloucester.
So
it's about time it had a regular drum and bass night, because there's
plenty of new faces waiting to break through.
Tough
But
it hasn't been easy...
It's
tough promoting urban music in Gloucester- there seems to be
a stigma attached to it. |

Promoter/DJ
Miss Represent said, "It's been really difficult finding a
venue, we're lucky the landlord's letting us do it."
The
Welsh Harp is a 200-capacity venue with that all-important late
license.
"It's
tough promoting urban music in Gloucester - there seems to be a
stigma attached to it."
She
said clubbers could expect "good vibes and cheap drinks"
on the night.
"Gloucester's
drum and bass scene is getting better - we hope this new night will
get things moving a bit."
DJs
The
night, which launches on Friday March 26, features DJs including:
- Miss
Represent

The

so it's going to be loud!
