Latin 'She Wolf' Shakira makes her Glastonbury debut bringing a welcome dose of Columbian glamour to Worthy Farm for the 40th Anniversary. A multiple Grammy award winner, Shakira has sold over 50 million records worldwide and is the highest selling Columbian artist to date. She achieved breakthrough success in the English speaking market in 2001 with Whenever, Wherever, accompanied by the memorable music video which showcased her belly dancing prowess. She continued to prove her 'Hips Don't Lie' collaborating with Wycleaf Jean on what became the most successful song of 2006 worldwide. A seasoned live performer, Shakira performed at the World Cup in Berlin to an audience of over 1 billion people internationally. Expect the crowd to be chanting 'Shakira Shakira' when she whips up a poptastic latin storm on the main stage.
