Reformed and returning to the farm, two years after Terry Hall and Lynval Golding surprised many with appearances on the Pyramid and Park stages, the new six-piece Specials are set to jog many a memory and heart rate as Friday's Pyramid stage crowd ready themselves for Neil Young.

So awesome!! What a band, the years have only improved them. Wish I was there stomping around at the front like at Leeds.

It doesn't get any better than this. The Specials are as relevent today as they were in 1979.

I remember The Specials when they were playing the pubs in Coventry in the 80's. They've still got it.

I agree with most of the comments good energy and great performance however i don't like the guitar playing especially all the rockabilly licks it doesn't seem to fit with the music and if anything it jars with the rest of it rhythmically.

Been a massive fan since 1979 - tried to get ticket this year - no luck but never mind. Good luck guys, saw you in Harlesden c.1998 sans Terry. Anyway you were and ARE massive - you changed social attitudes for a generation down via 2-Tone. Please put on more shows!! Rankin' Charlie
(and Terry, I know the numismatist you once 'worked' for!)
