 Regina Spektor

Russian born American singer songwriter Regina Spektor returns to the festival circuit this year with a new album of songs to belt out to the summer crowds. Her piano driven melodies and eccentric lyrics have earned her enormous acclaim worldwide. This year's album entitled Far, includes some tracks that have been in the works for over five years. Expect accomplished playing with quirky lyrics on the main stage.

Absolutely Amazing!! Deserves a #1 here in the U.K. Surpassed my expectations and had a rousing set... miles ahead of Lily Allen who seemed to be the only singer on BBC Red button live coverage unfortunately... more Regina please! :)

Come on BBC, show more "minority" artists in your TV coverage. Replace the endless loops of the well known acts with this and some of the other less well known artists.

Good clean performance from Regina Spektor. She is an underrated talent.

Lily Allen is not in the same league as Regina.
You will have to wait a long time to hear Lilly Allen
record a song comparable with SAMSON (lyrically or muscialy).

Hope she returns to the UK soon.

Why is there no preview on this blog? Typos will rule without a preview before you can post.

I`ve been a Regina Spektor fan for a couple of years and knew she is something special.

For those of you who have just discovered her, go and buy her last album `begin to hope` i promise you will not be disappointed, this is a special singer who in my opinion will be very big soon.
She already has a massive following in the USA.

I want Regina to come to Manchester or Liverpool so if you read this Regina please come up north..

Fantastic performance. I agree with most of the comments. The likes of lilly allen and lady ga ga or any other female artist radio 1 are telling you to jump on the bandwagon are not a patch on regina.

I can't believe you didn't include 'Apre moi' in the video. It's her best song after 'Fidelity'.

@ SOLZHENISTSYN why can't you just 'preview' it as you are writing it? Blimey, people complain about everything on here!

Anyway this was a proper performance from a proper musician. Went to see this on someone else's recommendation and I'm really glad I did. Such a naturally beautiful voice, nearly brought a tear to the eye (or maybe it was rain).

Brilliant performance. Loved being there. Why not put up the whole show (except maybe Bobbing for Apples for obvious sweary reasons)? Also, you've missed Samson off the set list, althoug hit is in the highlights.
