BBC you disappoint me. Brand New are regarded as one of the best if not the best "scene" bands around yet they didn't seem to get any coverage. What a waste of time.

I am also very disappointed with the complete absence of the coverage. Not only are Brand New an incredibly popular band, but they were on the 'other' stage, from which nearly all - if not all - the other bands on that stage were featured on the coverage.
      Very annoyed.

I agree entirely about what the above 2 people have said. Brand New deserved coverage, Enter Shikari got highlights on their page, why would Brand New not? Get your act together BBC.

I also agree. If Brand New are on the 'other stage' (the second main stage) we should be able to view the highlights of their set as we can with Enter Shikari. Having witnessed the affection fans have for this band at the London Forum on Saturday night, making the highlights available would please a large number of people.

Brand are a lot better than half the stuff they covered.
There seems to be coverage for well known and safe stuff, e.g franz ferdinand, or the stuff hardly anyone has heard of that is trying to be something crazy and new and different... e.g, i wouldn't know as i don't care enough to bother remembering their names.

But no love for brand new, a band that is truly interesting with intelligent lyrics and great understanding of how to craft a killer song.

They deserved to be on later at glasto anyway.

Ha ha, look at me ranting and raving. Well, not raving as there is no coverage of Brand New to rave too :(

I was disgusted by the lack of coverage of Brand New. They played 9 songs but not one was shown. I know music is subjective but some of the utter tosh that was shown was simply embarrasing. Surely it can't have been too hard to record their performance and at least put it on the website or red button?

The coverage of Glastonbury was shocking, and this lack of coverage of a fantastic band is symptomatic of the greater under-utilisation of the interactive services by the BBC.

I saw Brand New play on Sunday and there were definately cameras there, so why no footage on here?

Seems unfair that just about every other band on a major stage has some footage or at least some photos, yet this band, a widely respected and well known group (though sadly not suited to a Glastonbury audience it seemed) have been completely overlooked.
It's a real shame that a lot of people didn't realise that as a band who tour the UK very sporadically, with huge amounts of talent, this was a great chance to see a fantastic show. Perhaps if the BBC helped support the group and actually broadcast their set, they might get to access a wider fanbase.

Boooo! play Brand New, the BBC is supposed to stand for equality is it not? This band is far better than half the crap shown over the weekend. Frankly its a travesty that they were so far down the bill, Bon Iver? give me a break- they were terrible!

Argh, I recorded the 4-hour highlights show from Sunday night in the vain hope there would be 1 or 2 Brand New tracks on there. I'm guessing I'd be wasting my time watching it then?

so 400 BBC staff there and not one person to record one song from a hugely talented band, while utter pop trash like Lady Gaga and Lilly Allen get tonnes of coverage.

      makes sense.

i love that the BBC will show Lady Gaga's flaming bra but not Brand New.
When Brand New tour it is always out of the blue, and never often. They go to Glastonbury and the BBC still manage to miss it.
There were cameras there, i know because i was there.
      Idiots.

Brand New refused to allow the BBC to use the coverage they recorded. Not the BBC's fault at all.
