 Bat for Lashes

Mercury Award nominated Bat for Lashes brings an apt mystical theme to the Other stage on Sunday. The natural heir to Kate Bushes' legacy, Nathasha Khan (AKA Bat for Lashes) added the voice of the reclusive Scott Walker to her latest album's closing track. With haunting melodies and druid-like costumes, a spiritual experience awaits on the leylined festival.

If I can find out what time she's on I'll be watching. It's annoying that I can't even find an approximate time.

Never mind at least I've got tickets to her at the iTunes Festival in July I just hope I can get there.

They've delberately caused congestion, bus lanes, closed roads, speed humps, narrowed roads and junctions etc etc and then had the nerve to charge for this congestioned that they caused.

Anyway rant over. Bat For Lashes is the best thing since the invention of Electricity, I've got both her albums and if she makes another I'll buy that. She also performed live covers of "A Forest" (The Cure) and "Use Somebody" (Kings Of Leon) and others devestating excellent interpretations.

      Phenonimal!

I have seen Natasha perform on some chat show once (Daniel) and made a mental note at the time to check out her music but never did, having now seen her haunting performance at Glasto I can't express enough how beautiful her music is and now have both albums on order and can't wait to listen to them.

I have been a massive Tori Amos fan since 1992 and also have lots of Julianne Regan (All About Eve) stuff and feel there are similar influences in Natasha's music, dies anyone else feel that ?

If anyone has a ticket to her Somerset House show going spare please let me know !

I've wanted to see Bat For Lashes live for a long time now. It seems that I had her first album for ages without really listening to it and then suddenly overnight I fell in love with it. Then Two Suns was released and I got it as soon as humanly possible. What a fantastic songwriter. Her voice is haunting and her music relaxing and thought-provoking.

The Wizard and Pearl's Dream are probably my favorite songs swiftly followed by Seal Jubilee.

If anyone wants to go see her up north with me let's do it!

Anyway BizarreLoonatic! What do you mean by "Two previous albums"?

The only albums I know about are: "Fur and Gold" and "Two Suns", I have both of them.
