Swindon, Wiltshire: home of XTC, Melinda Messenger, and young three-piece guitar outfit, The Alfonz. Aged only 18, their rise to fame has been astonishingly quick. School friends Adam, Charlie and Sam formed officially in the summer of 2006, bashing out Hendrix covers to their mates. Before long, they'd sold all 1,000 copies of their limited edition debut EP after it was championed by Radio 1's Zane Lowe.
