Blasting through the highpoints from albums Consolers of the Lonely and Broken Boy Soldiers to bring 70s style bluesy rock back to the Pyramid stage.

Have seen the Raconteurs live twice and they just keep getting better! They just go for it 100% on stage and the sound they generate is unbelievable. Their Glastonbury'08 set was superb but if you're ever lucky enough to see and more importantly hear them play a small venue then you'll appreciate just how awesome this band is. The rightful heirs to Led Zep!

Totally amazing. Benson and White are fantastic together and they blow you away live!

The best single one-hour's entertainment of the weekend! Even better than Shaky, although sadly they also forgot to play "Green Door". Maybe next year....

A really great set, just great rock with melodic blues thrown in, a quality band definately gonna see these guys again. Reminded me of seeing Page & Plant on the same stage in '95

One of THE best performances of the weekend. They keep you on edge all the time and you never know how a song will pan out. Jack White's guitar on Blue veins was absolutely awsome.

They've never heard of the concept of playing a song the way it was recorded on the album, but that's one of the things I love about them. They put so much energy into their ridiculously long solos and smile to themselves and each other while playing. They're just so much fun to watch! The whole band work perfectly together, not just White and Benson.

Me and my 4 year old son loved it. I haven't seen a band this good on stage for years. They just blew the place away

Maybe jack is just inhearantly sexual. He seems to bring the same electric connection found in The White Stripes to any performance or collaboration he undertakes. Not that the praise should stop at White. Benson and co. manage to pull of a diverse and rockin' set. Although not the tightest band you'll see at Glastonbury this year, they definately mean every note, which is more satisfiying than any of the competitavely driven calculated performances you'll find at Glastonbury this year. A band with nothing to prove except good times and rock and roll.
