i saw them on friday morning, i really wanted to see them after zane had dubbed them canada's finest, quite an endorsment. they were the first band i saw that weekend. it was a huge tent and not many people were there partly i think because it was so muddy and quite early but it didn't matter, their sound was so big it filled up the tent. patrick was on form and the performance of luscious life sent the nerve endings on the back of my neck into overdrive. truly magnificent.
