Most of the crowd did not seem to know his music but you could feel the electricity when he played his guitar - hairs on end during Gravity

This guy, is incredible. He is unbelievably talented, and deserves much more recognition over here than he is getting. His music is true and is made of pure genius.

I went to see John play at Glastonbury with a group of friends and I didn't have high expectations having only heard his commercial studio albums. All I can say was that I was completely blown away. John is quite possibly the greatest musical talent of his generation. He played an incredible flawless set, complete with some of the best singing and guitar playing I've heard in recent years (perhaps ever), all played with more heart and soul than I've come to expect from modern musicians. This guy truly is something special, and seeing him play live at Glastonbury was an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life; amazing, awe inspiring talent.

Mayer just showed all the new bands out there how to play a guitar properly- genius, clapton cover and harrison cover - fantastic one of the highlights of th weekend only eclipsed on that stage by the Verve's epic set!
