Jazz world that night had such a buzz even though it had been raining that day and it was cold. Candi Staton was the perfect antidote to this, with a funky, feisty performance which kept us all dancing (and warm)! Her voice was like putting on an old pair of jeans, it fitted just great! My daughter thought she would only recognise one song but danced and sang to the whole set, something we both won't forget in a hurry, class!!!

Candi Staton was the first act i was excited about at this years Glastonbury, and she really made our Friday. She gave such an energetic, soulful performance and will be one of my favourite memories of the festival.Big up Candi.

Saw her at the Jazz World Stage this year. Amazing! Best act of the year by far. Played all her disco classics and soul anthems. We danced our socks off for the whole performance and then got to meet her afterwards. She really shows up today's artists, with the happiest crowd of the event. Great.

She was just amazing - everyone in the field was dancing in their plastic ponchos as though the rain didn't matter! She performed on the Jazz World Stage, not the Pyramid Stage as is labelled here. BBC!
