Glastonbury Weekend Weather

BBC weatherman Richard Angwin's forecast

Glastonbury weather

Issued at: 12pm Friday 22 June

There really is little change to the forecast that we have been issuing over the last few days and it will remain showery through to the very end of the Festival.

At least the weather will improve a little through the rest of Friday. Those heavy showers might just begin to die out later to leave a mainly fine evening over Worthy Farm. Tonight will be mainly dry and fairly mild with a minimum temperature of 12 degrees.

Saturday will be a brighter day than Friday. Unfortunately the sunshine will encourage showers to develop during the day and some of these could well be heavy. But in the sunshine temperatures will reach a fairly warm 20 degrees.

After a fairly mild - and mainly dry - night, Sunday will be a cool and showery day. In fact, there will be more showers than on Saturday, they will be heavier and it will be really chilly. Temperatures may be no higher than 16 degrees.

After a cold night on Sunday night (expect a low of 7 degrees) Monday will see further showers, brisk winds and ridiculously low temperatures for late June.

For a five day forecast, go to BBC's Weather for Shepton Mallet.
