I was at the front, and it was the most amazing thing ever, i absolutely LOVE babyshambles and Pete, and was lukcy to see his acoustic set aswel. I LOVE YOU PETE!!!! x

they were one of the best bands playing. They were soooooooo amazing, Pete is a very charismatic and talented performer and seeing him play live is mesmerising. People shouldn't they believe what they read in the tabloids (scum!). I think is it a love or hate thing when it comes to babyshambles/pete doherty. One of the best live bands i've ever seen. The only annoying thing was kate moss coming on and off... obvious attention seeking... we were there to see babyshambles not to watch kate moss be irritating.

Shambolic - banal lyrics blithered rather than sung in an atonal mumble. Fair play though, he has totally substituted a tabloid form for any substance, Carl B clearly showing this weekend where the talent was in the Libs. Hate to agree with Noel Gallagher, but when the idiot writes a decent album I'll take him seriously1

slammin set from the babyshambles! looking very dapper indeed, loved the fact that mick can play the harmonica upside down and that drews backing vocals are as clever as a goat in nasa! never the less poetic, melodic, anthemic! portrayed by an on form healthy lookin mr doherty.these boys want to be in a arcadian britain and with their politics whitty writing and from time to time some decent playing, babyshambles have a future.

I didnt actually go, but from the footage and being a massive Libertines/Babyshambles fan, the tv/stream footage is simply not impressive and does nothing to prove the doubters wrong. I was actually embarrassed by the guitar playing, they can play amazingly, im sure it was much better in the flesh but this was not their best. Pipedown was very good mind, like the shambolic greatness when Walden was in the band, they miss him badly.

Some people on here clearly don't know a true lyrical genius when they see/hear one. You'll struggle to find a better lyricist at the minute. Pete's an entertainer, and the guy who said he was making it up as he goes along, you talk bollocks mate. Its called variation, he changes tracks for live performances so they dont sound the same as on album. Pete's a legend, however true Pete fans would have much preferred to see him up there with the libs. Babyshambles is just something to keep him going whilst he is on a break, Long live The Libertines!

I went along to see Babyshambles with an open mind and after 40 minutes left to see someone else. Nothing at all stood out, the majority of the crowd looked really bored and I can honestly say that is one the dullest sets I have ever heard.

I watched about 10 minutes of the Babyshambles and was absolutely apalled... And WHAT ON EARTH was KATE MOSS doing coming onto the stage let alone SINGING???Shame for Pete Doherty, when his girlfriend gets a bigger cheer for coming onto the stage than him though...:-)

Really really good. Sounds worse on the t.v for some reason, but live Pete was amazing! Sounded good and he was very charming.

I'm glad those who didn't think it was a good performance took the time to not only watch it but also go on the computer to complain about it to a load of people who couldn't care less what there opinion is.Babyshambles are amazing, not only for there music but for the atmosphere that follows them to every gig/festival they perform at. They were just incredible. They looked like characters out of Brighton Rock. The guitarist, Mick, is amazing, he can't play whatsoever but he was playing a rickenbacker and wearing a good suit so who cares? It was great to hear them play Time For Heroes but I think the best song was Albion.

Amazimg!!Babyshambles definately lived upto there high profile rock n roll antics. Pete Doherty and the boys, put the wow factor into my time at Glastonbury. Sad not to see Carl Barat join Pete on stage. However he could've ruined everyone's festival spirit with his miserable mug.Keep the good stuff up Babyshambles...!

While the song selection is questionable it was a solid performance.Easily the best dressed now 'Miss Moss' is a Topman.Time for heroes and What katy did were only okay. But Bsck form the dead and pipedown were decent.best band there

Cmon Pete you cant fool us youre making the songs up as you go along. Please dont try to do a guitar solo again, in fact just dont try to play the guitar again, better still stop singing and just go and stand at the back of the stage with your back to the audience and think about what you are doing.

i thaught pete doherty was an amazing performance for this years glastonbury. with all the critics he has, and all the problems he has ambled his way through this year, he put all those to bed, by i think, a very professional performance, and bringing out classics like "Time for heroes" was a huge crowd pleaser, along with his enthusiastic performance of "pipedown". well done pete!
