Artists/Line-up

Iggy and the Stooges

Legendary performers who practically invented modern rock: expect some decadent rocking and guitar fury action from the originals.

Reviews

Debs
Fantastic, best performance of the w/e especially the stage invasion and seeing Kate & Pete run for their lives backstage was so funny.

shrew
Superb performance, 60 years old and still kicking up a fuss. Get up on the stage!!! No conformity top respect to the godfather of punk!!!Long Live Iggy Pop!I've been seeing Iggy since late 70's this gig could well be one of his best.

Fran
Went to see a band in our local, watched iggy when we got bk, loved it what a top bloke getting the audience up on stage!!!

Matt

Carolan Brown
Wow! what a legend. I remember him in the 70's he sounded outrageous then but really current now! An awesome and memorable performance...

Pirate Rocker
Woo!!! They ROCK!!!

Stu Mak
This is it! There is no better way to end the Saturday at Glastonbury. Iggy and the Stooges rocked the whole site with the standards that, despite the years, still sound sharp, agesless and set the standard a long time ago. At one stage I thought the invitiation stage invasion was going to back-fire (What did happen to the Wispa?) but the way that was handeled by the band and security was amazing. You couldn't put anyone on after Iggy and the Stooges because thaty would have been blown away by the vortices still swirling after the Stooges were tucked up in bed!Not bad for a bunch of 60 year olds! The best act of the weekend! No question!

Scott Linton
It was awesome, it was mind-numbing and it was inspiring. Stage Invasion and all, the true punks showed up the overwhelming number of pop acts like we all knew they would. Long live the Stooges!

Chris Watson
I've never seen such rubbish. And I hope the police were backstage after the set, as I can't imagine that anyone behaving like that unless they had taken a whole cocktail of drugs.

winnie
poor site no audio consent, i dont care about the stupid pictures

john gardiner
its performances like that that lead to the answer WOT MUD to the common question

Paul Gaughan
Igyy and the Sttoges were sensational - who would have thought that it would take a crowd on anarcho punk pensioners to show what Glastonbury is all about...The Stooges Forever !!!

jill
absolutely brilliant, the best.

mike burrows
fantastic took me back to 1976/77 and the spirit of my punk youth and he was there then.. shows you can rock at what ever age!!!!

steve
top class preformance,

matthew
a great game well done

John Whitworth
Iggy godlike gives an awesome performance at glastonbury managing to get half the crowd on stage forcing talentless pete & kate to make a run for it. The Stooges show most the other bands this weekend how to command a stage, playing 40 year old songs which still sound fresh. If I have half his energy at 60 I shall be a happy man. Awesome.

FAILIAN
NICE
