I agree, total highlight of the festival. They should have headlined!
mark
have been telling everyone i know about them since glasto. No one is getting any peace.why isnt any of it on here?
Jez
I'd hear a lot about them but was v disappointed - a lot of 80s rock bluster, rushing around and silly instruments to little effect. Admittedly not helped by the sound man or lighting man.
Black Grapefruit Can
As ever Win, Regine and the gang gave it their all and gave us the best Glasto performance of the year. Amazing. 'Neon Bible' is one of my favourite albums of the year and I'll bet anyone that by the end of the summer they'll be shouting along to 'Keep The Car Running' and 'No Cars Go' as well as 'Wake Up' & 'Neighborhood #3(Power Out). Shame on you BBC for the no-show on Arcade Fire's set. Booo!
mike
unbelievably brilliant, the best act at glasto
Benson Walker
I went to Glasto to play in my own band... but the real highlight for me was to catch Arcade Fire... they were amazing & inspiring!
Jesse
A complete waste of my time. I want those precious minutes back
Pedro
just can't wait to see them and bloc party tomorrow.. they're awesome!!
Neil Jung
Astonishing - one of the top 3 live bands in the world today, along with Sigur Ros and Explosions In The Sky.
Rico
didnt see it but keep the car running would make an awesome track for people testing high end hifi
sofia
this was my favorite gig, mind blowing
damian
the greatest band this world has ever seen!!
john lester
probably best band there, come on show the set!!
matt
best set i saw at glasto. cannot believe it's not being shown. atrocious.
Alan Lee
This was for me one of the highlights of the whole festival. Absolutely brilliant
laura & gary
worth going just for them! Can't believe they weren't on the highlight prog?? Awesome!!!
Hackney chris
This was one of the classic glastonbury performances, it was as important and powerful as radioheads 97 ( also muddy ) performance. The bbc have really missed a trick not showing the coverage in depth, this was groundbreaking and awe inspiring, it made my glastonbury.
Julie Roberts
So looking forward to seeing them and they surpassed all my expections - that glorious wall of sound coming off The Other Stage was awesome. The highlight of the weekend for me!
martin
brilliant, full of energy and life
Jamie, Bristol
The first time I have seen or heard them. They were brilliant, passionate, produced an epic sound and created something very special. They really connected with their audience. This coupled with a sunset to remember made it my festival highlight.
Fat Limey
I am frankly astonished that their set is not available on line. For me they were the highlight of the weekend. Given how the BBC rave with superlatives concerning the most mediocre bands, I fail to see how Arcade Fire are not available to see again.
Brian Greed
My son told me to watch out for them at Glasto- Fantastic performance, got to buy the CD's now!!
Djabadi
Awesome. Where is the set? Come on Beeb, you know it's your duty.
frances
Got there Neon Bible seeing them in newcastle in October after tis performance cant wait!
Jess Lucas
Performance nearly drove me to tears from intense happiness. It's amazing to me how quickly I've gone from thinking 'they're pretty cool', 'I think I'm a fan', then 'I love them', right to 'they're downright the best band ever ever ever ever'!Now I actually find it hard to understand someone that doesn't like them!
H
mindblowing and mud-dazzling
June
Totally shocked at NO coverage! Their performance was amazing, in I fact went to Glast just to see them and was so impressed. They deserved to be on the Pyramid stage. Wake Up was awesome. tytyty Arcade Fire,,, boo hiss to BBC...
Barefoot Brian
Really enjoyed what I saw on BBCi the other night - hoped to watch online. Why isn't their set on the web site? They're brilliant, so full of energy and obviously enjoying their music. PLEASE put their set on web site!!!!
Gary
WHERE IS THE VIDEO!
Rob
I was there and it was 1 of highlights of a great British w/e in the mud and rain. Please put this set online, esp WAKE UP
Liam
Effortlessly brilliant. Would love to see some coverage although I suspect it wouldn't do justice to what was a truly religious experience.
ben clark
missed their set and am desperate to see them!!!!. get them online now!!!
ken
Im 60 and seen and heard the lot.Arcade fire are simply the best of the lot. The person who said boring like coldplay obviouly has never actually seen or heard them!
Martin
Please put this set online. I was there but couldn't see it because my 1 yr old was asleep and i had to look after her.
Di Gill
Have to agree - coverage of this great band was absolutely pants - come on BBC they were after practically headlining the Other stage just before bjork and all we got was loads of shots of DSB's welly boots and Admiring Kate Moss watching her shambolic (babyshambolic) boyfriend lurch all over the stage!!! Is it me or does he look like he's been in the Glasto mud all year! WAKE UP and give us more Arcade Fire
Gareth
The best band in the world at the moment as admitted by Miichael Evis. BBC should be treating them better. Fanastic music and caring performance.
ROO
Fantastic what we got to see of it - why isn't it on here!!!!!!!
Rotor
Awesome set ... most captivating and energetic of the whole festival, for me.Can't wait to see them live in October (Newcastle Arena).
s
missing the cute one with lovely hair and all her friends allready (thanks u )
julio
This was the best performance I saw this Glastonbury by some way. It was unbelievable. Singing along to Wake Up was like nothing I've ever seen at a gig before and having got back I've watched it again on youtube 3 times - it almost brings a tear to my eye. I'm posting this just to let the BBC know that failing to get this footage online is a real mistake. Whoever made the decision not to show it should be fired.
David A
All I saw was no car go on TV, brilliant...please get this online for everyone who missed it.
John B
Absolutely brilliant! My highlight of the festival, what a surprise!
Dominic
Don't know as BBC2 & BBC3 and BBCi resolutely refused to show any Arcade Fire at all. I saw the end of 1 track and that was it. Given that The Coral & Amy Winehouse were on pretty much all weekend I was so annoyed by late on Saturday that I hardly bothered to look on Sunday, except to check that BBCi still wasn't showing any.
Jean
Shame on BBC and coverage strategy for this venue. Best live band ever !!!
Alex
Definatly one of my highlights of glastonbury! LOVE ARCADE FIRE! AWESOME!!!
ravequeen
mindblowing!
BBCassholes
An amazing band with huge devoted fans that are high on the bill on one of the main stages at glastonbury......yet no coverage. intstead loads of crap. sort.it.out
peter watson
it would be good if we could see it
Dave B
Where is the footage of the Arcade Fire? Nothing on tv, heard one song on the radio, nothing online...
David
Why isn't this set online? Please put it on.
matt beale

Gary
Definitely one of the highlights of the weekend. Why werent they given more coverage?
Juzza
Best big stage set of the weekend. Even better than The Go! Team and Arctic Monkeys. With their music/talent/energy, they couldn't fail. Loved every second.
D Centre
Properly dull. The Canadian Coldplay.
LeadbellyDan
For me this was the best set of the weekend. So powerful and full of energy - amazing. Everyone was singing the the chorus of wake up as we left the stage - magic.
paul c
missed arcade fire set and am massive fan - please put them on live stream. should have been headlining and they would have got the attention this band richly deserve
sarah flax
I love Arcade Fire and decided to watch from the comfort of my living room, only to be very dissappointed by the coverage from the BBC. The sound was awful on BBC4 and then I hoped that on BBC 2 later they would play the whole set, only to be dissappointed again. ONE SONG! So patientally I hoped to see the set by pressing red!! OH NO.....we had winehouse, winehouse and more WINEHOUSE! Did the BBC get a bung from winehouse promoters or something! We had so many repeats on the red button. I got bored by the coverage, it was incredibly repetative and what was most annoying was that the presenters raved on about how good arcade fire was and as a punter we didn't get to make up our minds to be able to agree!! Thank god for the Artic Monkeys at least that didn't dissapoint! Something the sound engineers and the BBC got right.
Vic
Brilliant band so why only one song covered on bbc2 on friday night. Please, please beeb put on a special of the Arcade Fire set.
Stacey
Out of about 15 hours worth of Glasto coverage i saw this weekend on BBC, i saw one Arcade Fire track - pitiful really, especially considering how much airplay was given to others.
Phil Read
Absolutely stunning, best band/performance of the festival
Sarah
It's so weird two years ago I went into several music shops asking if they had "funeral" and many of them didn't or know who they were! It just shows how far arcade fire have come and they really deserve it as they have such a unique and indivdual sound which brings their music alive.
John Mouland
How come the set is not on the BBC it was awsome?

melh
arcade fire what a performance best yet at glasto
John W
It's the first time I've seen or heard of this band and they were awesome, why isn't the bbc showing them instead of some of the other live clips? They should of headlined Friday instead of the northern pub band.
paudie
the best thing so far there were up against some really good other acts that night but arcade fire seemed the best from tv land any way
James Berry
Should have headlined. Next time?
Dessie

Paul Tonks
Best so far. A revelation! These are a fantastic group of musicians who clearly love what they do and what they do is magnificent!!
Vic
I thought the coverage was great and the performance excellent. I just wish the BBC had shown all of it.
Mick Welsh
The Arcade Fire set looked fantastic, but the audio broadcast quality on whichever channel it was on was poor throughout most of it. Please persuade the band to let the set go out on the BBC website so we can appreciate it properly.
