Patio roses are dwarf floribundas, with full-sized flowers on small bushes, whereas miniature roses are small in every respect. The flowers on the award-winning 'Sweet Dream', named Rose of the Year in 1988, are medium-sized and plentiful, with hardly a break between flushes. The plants have a neat, bushy habit and resemble small shrub roses that look excellent in a pot or as a small group at the front of the border. They are also excellent as edging and dwarf hedges. One or two feeds during the flowering season help to sustain later crops, as does deadheading at regular intervals. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
