One of the world's best known roses since its introduction at the end of the Second World War in 1945, 'Peace' is still a favourite choice for beds and borders. It is a large plant for a hybrid tea, and it is better to give plants plenty of space rather than try to prune them. Its lightly scented flowers are very large, bright yellow and flushed pink at the edges. It blooms continuously from summer to autumn. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it their Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
