Said to be an improvement on 'Bevan's Variety', 'Csakor' produces deep magenta flowers in early summer. Its tolerance of dry shade makes it useful for difficult areas in the garden, such as under trees, where it makes good ground cover. The leaves release an aromatic scent when rubbed and take on attractive red tints in autumn.
