'Gravetye' is one of the most compact varieties of Geranium himalayense, with very large violet-blue flowers which have red-flushed white centres and appear intermittently throughout summer into early autumn. Its finely-cut foliage is also attractive and colours beautifully in autumn. To keep plants in looking their best, remove old flowered stems and leaves and lift and divide them every few years in spring. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it the Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
Looks good with:Heuchera micrantha var. diversifolia 'Bressingham Bronze'
