This is a great ground-cover plant for low maintenance areas. It's a tough, evergreen perennial with large, rounded, bronzed-tinted leaves, which tolerates any soil, but leaf colour will be best on poor soil in full sun. In mid- to late spring, it produces soft pink flowers which darken with age. Plants quickly form dense clumps which should be divided every three to five years to maintain their vigour.
Looks good with:Vinca minor 'Aureovariegata'
