This is one the larger foxtail lilies, growing to a staggering 3m (9=ft) tall. Its pale pink blooms soar above all else in the early summer border. To do well, plant in a warm, sheltered spot where the sun can bake the tubers in late summer. Ensure good drainage by adding grit to the soil at planting time, and by setting the tubers on a bed of sand or grit.
