Plum

'Marjorie's Seedling' is one of Pippa Greenwood's favourite plums, thanks to its resistance to plum bacterial canker. It produces good crops of large, purple-blue, juicy fruits in autumn. A self-fertile variety, it does not need to be planted with another plum to produce reliable crops. Its fine qualities have led to the Royal Horticultural Society giving it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
