This exceptional form of the native stinking hellebore has maroon suffused leaves, stems and flowers. Plants form domes of dark green, finely divided leaves from which clusters of apple green flowers appear in late winter. Its name comes from Wester Flisk on the Firth of Tay where the plant originated.
