A compact hardy geranium that remains as a neat cushion, and will not smother choice neighbours in a well-drained border, rock garden or scree. From early to late summer the plants are covered with half inch wide bowl shaped pale pink flowers which look darker due to the heavy mauve-pink veining over the petals. Looks superb grouped with bulbous oat grass, Arrhenatherum elatius ssp. Bulbosum 'Variegatum' which has short green and cream variegated foliage and enjoys similar growing conditions. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
