This upright, deciduous and highly-scented shrub produces showy clusters of rose-pink flowers on bare stems as early as February. Later in the year they produce red berries, which are poisonous when eaten. This plant looks great all-year round, with its narrow, pale grey-green leaves. It thrives in partial shade.
