Don't be fooled by the buds which are dark red, because the sweetly scented flowers are actually white. They're nicely ruffled with a button eye, with just a faint vestige of red at the edge, appearing once in midsummer. Howver, if given a quick prune after flowering, you will be rewarded with a second flush. At this height, there's only one place for 'Leda', and that's at the front of a border.
